Some travelers prefer to prevent theft or scratches on their checked luggage by using a wrapping service. For those departing from Thailand, Suvarnabhumi Airport offers such a service. The wrapping station is conveniently located near the check-in counters and escalators. The price is 200 THB per piece.

If you are returning from Switzerland and wish to use this service, Zurich Airport also provides luggage wrapping. Today, I have some photos and information to share with you.

Luggage Wrapping Service at Zurich Airport

The cost is 30 CHF (approximately 1,200 THB, based on an exchange rate of 1 CHF = 40 THB). This price is reasonable considering the local cost of living. For instance, a meal at a restaurant here also costs around 30 CHF. This price applies to standard large checked luggage. For oversized luggage, the fee is 55 CHF.

However, the premium price for the luggage wrapping service at Zurich Airport is accompanied by premium service. The conditions are as follows (based on the current information, as these services may change and develop over time):

• If your luggage does not arrive at the destination on time, they guarantee to retrieve it within 48 hours.

• If your luggage is confirmed lost, they will compensate up to 4,000 Euros.

• If your luggage is significantly delayed or damaged, they will compensate up to 1,000 Euros.
