Exchanging money: You can exchange money to buy snacks conveniently with amounts ranging from 100 to 200 francs. Most supermarkets accept credit cards everywhere.
It's recommended to use the SCB Planet Travel Card because it allows easy cash withdrawals without extra charges, suitable for both credit and debit transactions. Make sure to set your PIN code properly.
For backpacking trips, food costs about 18-20 francs per meal if bought ready-to-eat. Bringing ingredients from Thailand for cooking can keep daily expenses below 100 francs.
Lastly, "We will cook our own meals to save money."

***Always keep some coins with you in case you need to use the restroom, which costs around 1.5-2 francs per visit. We will use the restroom on the train every time we board or before we disembark.
Internet
It's recommended to use the Sim2Fly from AIS or a roaming package. You can call their call center for more information. The SIM card can be purchased at some shops, so it's best to call and check in advance. There is also a shop at the airport, but it closes at 9:00 PM. Do not wait to buy a SIM card in Switzerland.
Everyone must have Internet access.
❌ Do not use pocket WiFi.
❌ Since we will be walking apart from each other, pocket WiFi won't allow you to stay connected. It is essential for everyone to have their own Internet connection to ensure you can contact others in case of unexpected events.
✔ During the trip, you will learn to navigate using public transportation through various applications, making the journey both educational and enjoyable.
Traveling to the airport: Currently, all airports are exceptionally crowded, both in Thailand and Switzerland. To ensure a smooth process, arrive at the airport at least 4 hours before your flight for check-in. It is highly recommended to check in online in advance, as there are separate lines for baggage drop-off which can significantly reduce waiting time for check-in
